I have been an award-winning educator for over 50 years. I love the acts of teaching and learning and conversation and communication. I bring enthusiasm and passion to each session. I am now retired, but love to “stay in the game” through tutoring.

Hi. I am a semi-retired man with advanced degrees. I can teach every subject (I was a biology "pre-med " and English double major) except foreign languages and including math up to and including algebra. My strengths are teaching English, history, civics and government, and the sciences. I am very patient, always encouraging, and never judgmental. I enjoy the challenge of helping my students find the motivation and curiosity to understand schoolwork (and the world!).

I am about to graduate with a master’s degree in elementary education. I have experience working with 1st graders but can tutor k-3rd in any subject. I studied English and Communication in college so I can tutor any age in ELA.

I am a Massachusetts licensed and certified middle school social studies teacher. I teach grades 6-8, but have experience at all age levels! I am also a full-time graduate student at Providence College, pursuing an M.Ed.

My specialties are teaching both history and special education. As an educator, I am committed to providing the same quality education to students, regardless of their background, age, or race. I also firmly believe in communicating clearly and promptly with students, always being transparent in my interactions and feedback. I am passionate about engaging with students in new and innovative ways.

I am a certified NYCDOE teacher. I teach elementary, ENL, and STEM. I love working with children and helping them reach their full potential. I tutor in elementary English, Math, Science, and Humanities. I enjoy the learning process and the "ah ha" moment students reach when learning. When learning clicks, it's amazing to watch. I believe every chid can learn. We all have our own path to learning and it is my job as a teacher to help student find their path.
