Rizzo Reading Tutoring
About
Hi, My name is Jennifer Rizzo and I have been teaching for 11 years. I have a bachelors in Early grades education (Grades Pre-K-4). I also have a masters in Reading/ELA and my reading specialist certificate. Presently I am an intervention specialist at Carlynton School District. Previously I have taught Kindergarten for 5 years, Pre-K for 1 year, 2nd grade for 1 year and academic support in grades K-3 for 2 years. I also have been an interventionist at the Duquesne University reading clinic for one year. I have been trained in using a variety of programs specifically focusing on phonics/spelling instruction as well as reading comprehension. I would love to help your child become a successful reader and prepare them for the upcoming school year!
I love helping students achieve their goals! I try to make lessons as engaging and motivating as possible to promote student success.
