When the student is performing better

I am a highschool student with a lot of extra time on my hands. My parents are both teachers and I have helped them on occasion. I am nearly fluent in Russian and English is my native language. I love teaching and want to earn a little money and help people learn English.

As a certified elementary school teacher with a reading specialist endorsement, I have the educational background and experience to guide students towards success. I have homeschool taught three students and have tutored a dozen students in reading, writing, and math for the past two years. Prior to that I taught first and second grade for three years and earned my graduate degree in Curriculum and Instruction from George Fox University. I have the empathy and knowledge students need to meet their goals and would love to help your students succeed.

I recently graduated with a degree in history and minored in communication and Chicano/Latino Studies. I'm currently in a teaching program as well so I have an understanding with the pressure of being a student and it all entails. I understand that social studies and language arts is not a simple subject for everyone, but I've learned with working with students how to make it attainable that allows for the students to succeed in their classes.
