I have experience as a tutor. One year I helped a lady with her reading and increased her understanding of phonics via a library's reading program. In general, I have helped people learn to read and to understand math. I taught as a substitute teacher K through 12th in Southern California. I have had positions as a Firmware Designer. I have a BS in Electrical Engineering, and another in Computer Science as well as some courses at a Masters level. I enjoy helping someone master a new skill.

I am an Elementary endorsed (2011)/trained teacher (2019-2021) in all subjects (math, ELA science/social studies, ESOL trained 2020-2021) common core. I am also a trained/licensed Early Childhood Special Education teacher since 2005 and licensed since 2008 (instructional strategies and behavior management) all University of Oregon. I currently substitute teach locally and have since 2019. My approach is developmentalist meeting students where they are and building on what they already know.
