I am a recent graduate from Wisconsin Lutheran College and just moved to Oregon. I graduated with a bachelors degree in biology but I have taken several chemistry and math courses. I have tutored some students independently in the past in related courses. I plan to work with each student individually and get to know them and their personal goals. I also understand there are different learning styles and I will do my best to recognize that with each student and create a specific plan to get the student where they need to be academically. I'm a NASA-trained astrobiologist and space medicine researcher who works in science communication and has authored various medical and science test prep materials. I am a retired electronics Engineer. I have worked in the semiconductor manufacturing industry for many years. Prior to that I was an instructor for math, physics, and electronics at ITT. I designed and built electronic circuits for the interactive exhibits at a science museum. My favorite experience is helping people of all ages understand how to interact with the world thru math, algebra, and beyond.
