About
I am a Michigan State University graduate with a degree in Elementary Education, Special Education, and a focus in Language Arts. I have worked with students both inside and outside of the traditional classroom. During online learning, I worked as a pod teacher for a group of kindergartners. Most recently I have been working for a school district as a special education teacher for grades K-6. I have experience working with a wide range of disabilities such as Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Developmental Delay, and Emotional Behavior Disability.
Due to my background both inside and outside of the classroom, I am looking to provide families with support in homeschooling, academic interventions, and advocacy for students with IEPs.
I love being able to create lessons and activities that are specifically geared towards the student's interests and levels. I enjoy watching their confidence grow as they make progress towards their goals.
