I am a volunteer in the elementary school working in the classroom, I work with 4th grade kids who are struggling with math and I help them on the questions they don't understand. I teach with the classroom teacher sometimes, and I teach 2 20-minute Chinese mini lessons to the 4th grade kids everyday, they learn Chinese with me. I love to be around kids. Helping them makes me feel good and I like this volunteer job a lot

I am an Elementary endorsed (2011)/trained teacher (2019-2021) in all subjects (math, ELA science/social studies, ESOL trained 2020-2021) common core. I am also a trained/licensed Early Childhood Special Education teacher since 2005 and licensed since 2008 (instructional strategies and behavior management) all University of Oregon. I currently substitute teach locally and have since 2019. My approach is developmentalist meeting students where they are and building on what they already know. I believe in flexibility and empowering students with choices.
