Hello, I am Isabel. I have a degree in statistics and I have been an online mathematics tutor for 2 years and a classroom volunteer teacher for one year. I have worked with all kinds of students where I understood their needs and the need to help every student individually. Mathematics can be fun, book me to find out.

I have many skills and experiences, so I can easily and quickly adapt to a diverse variety of people and age groups. I also have been tutoring since I was in high school and through college. I now am an ESL teacher and mom of two amazing daughters. In addition, I have deep passion for helping others. I'm invested in each one of my student's future. I want to see them soar high and will go above and beyond to help each child. I am continually educating myself to improve my teaching abilities and knowledge. I also use out of the box tactics to help the grasp the information and learn how they learn, so learning is easier and more fun....

My goal is to help students achieve the grade they deserve. I just finished school and I used to tutor at my college. In high school and math is what I know best and I will help you do great.

I'll start with a brief bio of myself: I'm originally from Wichita, Kansas. After completing my undergraduate degree in computer science I spent a year working in Washington, DC for a political lobbyist. I soon missed home (no offense intended to people from DC) and took a job teaching business stat at Kansas State University while working on an MBA. The job fit me well so I made a career out of it, later teaching at Oklahoma State University while getting my PhD in finance, and at the University of Oklahoma, teaching all kinds of stuff. I currently work at Oklahoma Christian University. Outside of school I enjoy golf and playing the stand-up
