Welcome! I’m Oscar Barillas, a dedicated math tutor based in Cleveland, OH. With a passion for helping students excel in mathematics and engineering, my goal is to assist in whatever the student's goals are. I have a B.S. in Mathematics from Cleveland State University and am currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering. My experience includes assisting with mathematics homework, but also being a STEM Peer Teacher at Cleveland State University with experience assisting Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus 1. I'm a recent Oberlin College graduate with bachelor's degrees in both Math and Economics. At Oberlin, I had been a teaching assistant for linear algebra, calculus, introductory to economics, microeconomics and macroeconomics. The worst grade I got in all the classes I mentioned was an A.

I have been teaching in this community for 30 years. Also,on the livonia Art Commission and a probation officer. Thus, I have been well screened and parents should feel comfortable when their child is with me. I enjoy working with people of all ages and nationalities. Nissan, Toyota and GM students were great and very respectful.
