Elementary And Middle School Tutoring Services
About
I individualize my approach based on how children learn best and creat modified activities to help a child best succeed in their classes where the information is presented in a different way. I started my passion for this helping neurodiverse peers better understand the content given to them in a classroom setting and adapt it so it made better sense to their individual brains. I hope that my teaching style can help others succeed in a similar way.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ask the student a few questions about themselves and their interests, then I quiz them so I can get an idea of how they learn best. I work with the information given and adapt along the way as I get to know the student better. I aim to teach strategies as well as teach the student the content they need so they can succeed in all aspects of education.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I volunteered in children's church for 2 years and tutored a bit at my high school for some peers of mine. I currently am working on an outdoor education project for middle and elementary schoolers at a local camp in partnership with my school.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$10 per 1/2 an hour, I will give discounts for 2+ students from the same family who use my services
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone who not only cares about the acedemic side of you but all of you. A sports brain can change how you process the world as can a music based brain.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What do I want to gain from this experience? What am I struggling with continually and is there a root cause to that? What do I want out of tutoring? What do I want in a tutor?
