I’m currently a Sophomore in college, going for a Masters in Business. I maintained grades that kept me on the honor roll throughout school. While attending school, I realized that everyone has a different way they think and learn. This is a big part of why some students feel they just can’t learn topics, because most teachers lack the ability to appeal to different learning styles. I take in what’s best for you, how you learn, and make sure you don’t loose your love for learning. I have about 3 years of paid experience, ranging from Pre-k to 9th grade. I have about 4+ years of unpaid experience.

All students of all skill levels and abilities are worthy of being able to enjoy learning and I tailor my approach to each student with their capabilities and interests in mind to achieve the most for them that I can while raising their confidence in the classroom. I taught 6-13 year-olds for more than thirty years in a private Montessori school. My thirty years of experience has shown me that students learn in different ways and to unlock a student's ability to read you need to find the correct "key". To help me in my quest to help struggling readers I took training in the Lindamood-Bell approach to reading that helps students with decoding the English word and strengthen comprehension skills.
