About
Hello! I am a 4th year French and psychology major at Ohio State. I've been studying the language for 8 years and recently spent 4 months in Paris, France, so I have an advanced level of French. I am happy to help with grammar, vocab, culture, listening comprehension, pronunciation, or anything else you may need to improve your French skills. I have tutored students in French before and currently volunteer as an ESL tutor. I also have 3 years of undergraduate experience in psychology, including working in 2 research labs, so I'm happy to help with any psychology-related material as well. Looking forward to working with you!
Nothing beats that moment when a student finally nails a tough subject. I think I get more excited than they do! Plus, tutoring in French and psych means that I get to talk about two things that I love.

How did you get started teaching?
In high school, my teacher asked me if I would be interested in tutoring a younger student in French. I agreed, and found it to be very fulfilling. I love watching students finally grasp something they've been struggling with-- both of us leave the lesson with a sense of accomplishment. The student told me that her appreciation for the language had grown since I had been helping her, and that was what sealed the deal on my interest in teaching.
