Hi, I’m Jennifer. I have taught ages 5 to adult. I taught in public schools in California, and now I am a private teacher/tutor. I was trained to be a language arts teacher, but I teach whatever my students need help with. Sometimes I teach fractions or geography, if that’s what is needed! I create lessons based on my students’ interests and needs, so they are always improving and never bored. My cat, Pumpkin, likes to be my assistant and is frequently next to my computer during classes. I love animals, and when I am not teaching, I am taking care of our dogs, cats, and horses. Hello as a college junior. I have a ton of reading and writing skills. I took AP language and AP literature in high school. during my time in college, I became a Theatre and Anthropology major. So learning history, performances, and public speaking is right up my alley. In the spring semester of 2024, I took a Shakespeare class where we had to dissect a scene from one of his plays and be able to perform his work. Being a tutor would be a great experience for me and the students so that we can learn with our surroundings; by being more excited for what our young minds are learning.
