Hello my name is Sofia. I am currently a junior at Kent State University studying Psychology and Pre-Law. I was born in Puerto Rico and lived there until 2016. I grew up speaking Spanish and got a Spanish education until the end of middle school. With that said, once I moved to the United States and perfected my English, I began helping classmates in their Spanish classes. I am also the oldest of eight siblings, and I have helped each one of them with homework for as long as I can remember. Qualifications: I formally studied Spanish for 10 years and completed an undergraduate minor (21 credit hours) in Spanish with a 4.0 GPA. As a result, I speak at an advanced, near-fluent level! I also have previous tutoring experience as a college math tutor. How I can help: I can provide comprehensive Spanish tutoring to help students of all ages/levels improve in the areas of grammar, vocabulary, speaking/pronunciation, reading, and listening/comprehension skills.
