I was an English teacher for 11 years. Back home in the Philippines, I taught Grammar, Literature, Developmental Reading, and Speech. I was also a Class Adviser for Grade levels 9 and 10 for 7 years in a Co- educational Catholic school. When I immigrated to the US, I was a pre-school assistant teacher and a Summer school English teacher for Grades 7 in New Jersey. And when I moved to California, I was a tutor of grades 1-3 students.
