I have been in education for 17 years. I have BS in Elementary Ed and Masters Degree in Education with a specialization in Literacy. I also hold 3 advanced studies certificates in Teacher Leadership, Differentiated Instruction and Gifted and Talented Education. I taught in the classroom for 10 years and also have held a position as a learning strategist. I have spent the last 7 years as a private tutor and homeschool teacher. While I tutor in all subjects, literacy instruction is my passion.

As a current college student with over 4 years of tutoring experience, all K-12 material is still quite relevant and fresh in my mind. I have worked with a variety of ages, from kindergarten all the way to seniors in high school. I get to know each student individually as well as get to know their personal goals. I will provide quick, concise responses for those in a hurry, and slow, methodic teaching for those looking to understand the material on a deeper level.
