I am a professional chess player of 13 years and a chess coach. I work with various schools across the US and help students improve their chess skills and board vision. I tailor each lesson to the students' needs. During the lesson we solve chess puzzles as a warmup, then move on to learning a new topic/ game analysis and we finish off playing a chess game. While teaching I am patient, understanding, I always encourage the students to ask questions and engage them with open or close ended questions. I have recently graduated from Colorado State University with two bachelors of science. I have been tutoring my peers and younger students since I was in high school. I have done AP classes and can provide help with most things you need. Math is not my strong suit but everything else I am pretty able to explain. I create personalized study guides and practice tests for you to take on your own time, so that my tutoring doesn’t just stop after I leave. I am fun and easy going but will also make sure you understand and can do the work to pass and thrive!
