Hi! I'm Eden, and I'm about to be a Junior in High School. I have a 4.0 GPA and consistent honor roll, and I especially love learning about English, literature, and history! I love working with kids (I have three little siblings myself) and I'm the person everybody in my class goes to if they need help. I have recently graduated from Colorado State University with two bachelors of science. I have been tutoring my peers and younger students since I was in high school. I have done AP classes and can provide help with most things you need. Math is not my strong suit but everything else I am pretty able to explain. I create personalized study guides and practice tests for you to take on your own time, so that my tutoring doesn’t just stop after I leave. I am fun and easy going but will also make sure you understand and can do the work to pass and thrive!

I have a Bachelor’s in Special Education and a Master’s in U.S. History. I have been working with students to improve their reading and writing skills for many years. Additionally, U.S. History and World History are my passions. I also believe it is paramount to help students build confidence in themselves so they can be prepared for life.

I was an English teacher for 11 years. Back home in the Philippines, I taught Grammar, Literature, Developmental Reading, and Speech. I was also a Class Adviser for Grade levels 9 and 10 for 7 years in a Co- educational Catholic school. When I immigrated to the US, I was a pre-school assistant teacher and a Summer school English teacher for Grades 7 in New Jersey. And when I moved to California, I was a tutor of grades 1-3 students.

I am a high school senior with experience adapting topics for younger audiences from freelance childcare and piano lessons. I love meeting different people and explaining topics that I love in more approachable formats.
