I love working with students of all ages, especially when it comes to teaching them History! I earned a B.A in History, graduated with high honors in History, inducted in Phi Alpha Theta Society (Honor society for History students). In High School, I got a score of 4 on the AP US History and scored a 98 on the NY state regents (NY regents is one the hardest state exams in the United States). I love working with kids. There are many things that as I teacher you find satisfaction in your relationship with your students, but I would outline the things like influencing the future. As teachers, we transfer knowledge to students and the skills they need for future academics and life successes. As they gain more and more knowledge they begin to develop their self - esteem which is another crucial thing in the development of a young person. The last thing that really makes me feel great is when we reach that moment and seeing the look on the student face when the "brain light" goes on and you realize that they overcome the difficulty.
