Hello, my name is Jay Patterson and I have been a teacher for 15 years. I recently received my doctorate degree in education. I have a passion for teaching and tutoring young minds. I love to see the growth of our future leaders of this world. I'm very patient and understanding of kids needs. I'm great at math, any Science, social studies and English. Every child is different and I understand how to help each child diffetently.

I am currently a senior at Archboshop Molloy High School. I am taking AP Calculus and AP Macro economics where I have finished with over a 90 in both quarters so far. I also have recently been accepted into the University of Miami with a 20k scholarship and plan on studying financial modeling. I also tutor kids at my school in the years below and am a volunteer at St Marys Childrens Hospital located in Bayside, where I help children with learning disabilities on their homeworks. I have also played 3 years of varsity basketball at my school and have scored a 750 on the math section of the SAT getting me to a 1400 total.

I earned the math excellence award after graduating high school . I know best how to do K-6 grade math and am very patient as a tutor. Happy to help if anyone needs !!
