What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It is important to communicate with parents as to the background and needs of students. Initial tutoring sessions will include screening to determine what the best level is for the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified in Elementary Education, Special Education, and Reading. I hold a Master's Degree in Reading and have graduated summa cum laude. I have been trained in Orton Gillingham.

Typically, I charge $50 an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always wanted to be a teacher, even as a child. I began by teaching preschool in the 90s as I worked on getting my degree.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a broad range of students, predominately in elementary school. I have also tutored students in Upper Elementary, Middle School, and High School with great success.
