Hello! I am a current second grade teacher looking to do some tutoring over the summer. I have worked as a second grade teacher for 6 years now. Prior to that I did some work in special education and also spent 4 years doing small group instruction in the public school setting.

I’m a reading specialist with 12 years of experience teaching students from elementary school through high school to learn to read. I hold a master’s degree from Keene State College and am a level 1 certified Orton Gillingham instructor. I have also completed level 1 LETRS training and am currently pursuing ESOL certification. I am passionate about literacy and really love working with students who have dyslexia or are having a difficult time learning to read. I use a multisensory approach that engages students in visual, auditory, and hands-on learning, and I feel honored to be part of a students journey as they unlock the code of reading.
