Greetings, I am a professional writer (journalism, Creighton University grant writing, nonprofit marketing, however most fun and fulfilling has been my current position as a paraprofessional for second grade at Fontenelle Elementary. I so enjoy working with kids and youth in literacy skills. My daughter had mild dyslexia and we worked hard together. She's now graduating from Grinnell college with a degree in biochemistry. Each child learns differently and at their own pace. Most importantly, all children have a capacity for learning, growth, curiosity and creativity. It's our job to tap into it.

I have always enjoyed reading and writing so I obtained a BA in English. I can provide conversation practice and guidance for those learning English as a second language, help students gain insight into literature, or assist students who are writing papers.

As a current paraprofessional and college student, elementary material is very relevant and fresh in my mind. I like to build a strong foundation with each student. I will collaborate with your teacher and also welcome parents feedback. We will set a goal together to help you achieve your goals!!

I am a current high school student. I am very well versed on a number of school subjects including biology and english and reading comprehension. I love to help anyway I can.

I've been an English Language Arts teacher for 5 years. I work primarily with students in grades 6th-8th. I have a B.S of Education for English and English as a Second Language in grades 7-12. I will have my M.S of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in Winter of 2023. I am here to help learners looking for additional support.
