I am a recent high school graduation looking to get into the tutoring business. K-12 material is still something I'm fresh and well versed in. I have done babysitting, tutoring of kids my own age, and help with younger kids in the past.

I have taught courses and designed curriculums at the collegiate level at North Carolina State University and worked with students of all backgrounds, skill levels, and ages. I hold a PhD in biochemistry and have recently moved back to the North Carolina area. My goal it to play a role in improving my community's STEM proficiency by helping students understand and really enjoy scientific concepts. I specialize in biology and chemistry as well as subtopics within those two disciplines - genetics, cell biology, ecology etc......

I love helping students get past mental blocks and gain confidence in math and science skills. I find I can do this by connecting the student with the concept through the student's other interests and subjects where the student already feels confident.
