I have 10+ yrs of experience working with kids. 2yrs of middle school teaching experience with Durham Public Schools. Also summer camp experience with the City of Raleigh and The Duke School. I received an Undergrad in Business Admin from Elizabeth City State University and Masters of Teaching the North Carolina A&T. I will be teaching high school business in the fall. I can help with English and some math depending on the class. As well as many other courses along with test prep, homework help and study skills.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Parents should provide IEP plans if applicable during 30 min consultation. Then we will set up a schedule for virtual or in-person tutoring.

Masters of Teaching Degree from NC A&T University
Business Admin Degree from Elizabeth City State University
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$20-40 depending on the reoccurrence of sessions as well as the number of kids per household.
How did you get started teaching?
I have had a desire to teacher since working in City of Raleigh summer camps and I finally decided to take the leap in fall 2018.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with kids as young as four up through high school age.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't be nervous about asking for help. Some teachers may not have the exact subjects you are looking for but most teachers teach every type of student and teachers are very adaptable. Make sure you find a tutor you feel confident in your studies!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Ask the teachers about what they need from the student.
