Zand the man! The best tutor Ive ever had. Zand was patient, understanding and really put 100% effort into every session. I found Zand at the right time. I just started my MBA program and I was taking a data analytics class and I had no idea where to start. Zand broke everything down into simple and comprehendible language where I was able to really understand . Every assignment I went to Zand for, I got 100% and I felt 100% comfortable with the material after every session. I definitely recommend Zand.

I feel compelled to share a great "find" we made last year. School had only been in session for two weeks before my kids came home lamenting that their AP Physics teacher left them totally confused and stressed out. Switching to a less demanding schedule wasn't an option so I decided to look for some help. Lord knows, it wasn't going to come from me or my husband! I found Daniel, a 2012 UCLA engineering grad who has been tutoring for many years. After the boys' first meeting with him, the level of stress in our household plummeted and the boys did well on their first physics test. We've decided to have him come regularly, just to make sure the boys understand the material and keep them confident. The boys ended up with A's in the class and doing well on the AP test. Daniel was able to help them with anything they didn't get in their calculus class as well. So as you stare the next school year in the face, if your child has any difficulty with their studies, especially in math or physics, consider talking to Daniel. He's a lovely young man and the boys really responded to him well.

He takes my 9th grade son for Math and Science twice a week and has been really helpful in working with him on topics that he's covering in class aswell as pushing him to raise his level. Ever since I started my college career, I've felt a dissonance between my self and my feelings. It has always been a facet of myself that I can't quite grasp. I tell myself and others that I lack the vocabulary/emotional intelligence to understand what's going on inside. Maybe I've just been trying the wrong approach. I don't think there's a mindfulness textbook that defines the way that mindfulness should work (there might be though, and if there is that's cool), it's different for everyone. This exercise was really freeing in that it showed me that there is no one formula for mindfulness, that it can even come in the form of constructing Markov Decision Processes (MDPs) and running policy extraction, and that I shouldn't put as much pressure on myself to have this idealistic grasp on mindfulness. So thank you Josh and CS360 course staff for letting me learn a little more about MDPs and also about myself!
