I am a doctorate student in Biomedical Engineering at WashU and have over 8 years experience in tutoring, having tutored several students, ranging from elementary to college students. I am a proud Math geek, with strengths in Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus, and also love the sciences, namely Physics and Biology. While teaching, I like to personalize the teaching experience for each student, bringing each individual's personality and passions into the work that they do in order to make learning fun and fulfilling for everyone....

I have tutored in mathematics in college, and in GED classes. I am not a mathematics genius, but then who is? But there are certain fundamental concepts that learners of math may have trouble in overcoming, and that's where I come in, with patience, and examples. I have been told that I am good at 'explaining things' and I'd guess that's due to my ability to communicate, to empathize, and to articulate.

A passion for math is something the current teaching system rarely succeeds to acculturate, which highlights my goal of spreading my love for mathematics that students can cherish throughout their lives.
