This Is Chemistry
About
Truly, I have a passion for teaching chemistry to people. The subject is incredible, and it allows for someone to look at the world in a different way. I learned much in my schooling for chemsitry, and have continued to learn more since I have started a full time job. I am one who loves to share understanding and knowledge.
As for tutoring experience, I have taught as a TA for general chemistry which includes tutoring, and I have helped many of my friends who must take chemistry as general electives in college.
For qualifications, I have a bechelor's degree in ACS certified chemistry, a minor in biology and forensics, and I have taught many throughout being a TA as well as being in classes with people who are not interested in science.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I love to know where that student is at in their walk with education. I want to know what step in education that person is.
I also like to know how a student leanrs. Are they better with visual illistrations, with practical examples, or with many different forms of explanation?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have tutored at college as a TA, and the TA experience I have also allows me to be a better tutor. I made A's and B's in every single chemistry related course that I took, and will study any concept I do not already know. I will also produce examples, and I will tailor my teaching to the students' learning.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Since I am just starting, my pricing will be a standard $15 for any basic course
How did you get started teaching?
College. I learned to love teaching in college, but I do not want to be a teacher as I value the one on one teaching method in which I can tailor my teaching to a particular student.
What types of students have you worked with?
All kinds of backgrounds from people who hate science to people who love it. As I tutored a general chemistry course, all science majors have to pass. I taught those who were going into chemistry as well as those who want nothing to do with it.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone who is passionate about chemistry. Those who despise chemistry may not be willing to go the extra mile to help the student truly understand what the science pertains to.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What they are needing to learn, where they are at in the subject, and no, I will not do your homework for you.
