I am a Hajim School of Engineering student at the University of Rochester. I achieved a 29 on my ACT for both Math and Science. I taught myself Calculus because my school didn't offer it. I specialize in learning how to think, starting at "Square One". I spend time with students one-on-one, approaching problems from several angles until something sticks. Once the student understands the concept, we switch roles and solidify the understanding by having them explain what they have learned to me. I think that teaching is the best way to learn. I have worked as a math tutor for the past 4 years both on campus at Missouri Southern State University, and I have done private tutoring as well. In May, I will graduate with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and in Fall of 2024 I will begin the PhD math program at the University of Arkansas.
