When I was in high school, I can remember the terrifying whispers. "Statstics is SO HARD!" 'You'll never get through it" " This class is impossible! I'll never pass!". I was shaking in my boots as I walked into my AP Stats class on the first day. But throughout the years I realized it wasn't so scary after all! IF-you have the right teacher, right notes, and right way of explaining things...things most students don't have. Thats why I started Simply Statistics! To reach out to the thousands of kids who are struggling with a class that can be, well, SIMPLE! I wanted to share my love for the subject as well as the tools, tips, and tricks I used to "get it"
I am a Magna Cum Laude High School graduate and currently attened Eastern Michigan University for neuroscience and pre medical studies
I scored a 4 on the national advanced placement statistics exam and received state awards for my perfroamance in the subject.
My approach method is to break concepts down step by step and simplify what may come across as endearing, into something that is managable and effortlessly commited to long term memory. Psychologists say that grasping and understanding a concept rather than drilling it into short term memory is the key to better learning and overall success.
I love seeing students understand what they havent in the past. I can remember feeling such a sense of relief when I started to grasp concepts that were not clicking before. It is like a snow ball effect, once the understadning starts, it does not stop. Really, I have an undeniable passion for learning and I am grateful I get to use it to help others.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start by getting know my students! I find it a lot easier to reach someone if they are comfortable learning with me. Then we start to break down their difficulties section by section and create a list of priorties. Some students need help with everything and thats perfectly okay! After I asses what the student wants to accomplish, I create a timeline and personalized lesson plans to fit each students need. We then work together on a regular basis to help grasp the concepts and ultimately acheive their desired goal.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Though I create personalized timelines and plans, I like to keep my sessions affordable at a flat rate of 20 dollars an hour.
