Ms. Aiyana Tutors

Hello! I'm Ms. Aiyana, a certified Special Education teacher, literacy coach, and reading and writing tutor with more than 15 years of experience helping students build confidence and achieve academic success. I hold a Master's degree in Special Education and have worked with students from elementary through middle school in both general and special education settings, including English language learners and students with diverse learning needs.

I believe every student can become a successful reader and writer with the right instruction, patience, and encouragement. My lessons are personalized, interactive, and designed to make learning meaningful while building essential skills in phonics, reading comprehension, vocabulary, writing, grammar, and executive functioning.

As a former Literacy Coach, I trained and mentored reading tutors using Science of Reading best practices and helped hundreds of students strengthen their literacy skills. Whether your goal is catching up, getting ahead, improving writing, or building confidence in reading, I use proven, research-based strategies to help students make measurable progress.
