About
Hi! I’m Sander - Engineer by Day, Tutor by... Whenever You Need Me
I’m a mechanical engineering master’s student at Carnegie Mellon (yes, I like math that much), and I’m here to help you conquer math and reading without falling asleep, crying, or Googling “why am I like this” at 2 a.m.
What It’s Like Working with Me
Think of me as your academic translator-I take confusing stuff (like algebra, geometry, or those weird reading comprehension questions) and explain it in a way that actually makes sense. I’m patient, laid-back, and allergic to making students feel dumb. Whether you’re prepping for a test, catching up, or just want to stop dreading homework, we’ll figure it out together-at your pace.
Bonus: I’ve worked on research, projects, and real-world applications, so I love throwing in fun examples like “when would you actually need this in life?”
Why I’ll Do a Great Job...
I’ve got the degrees and GPA, but more importantly, I get what it’s like to feel overwhelmed.
I work around your schedule-because I know what “busy” really means.
My goal is to make you independent, not reliant-so you won’t need me forever (but I’ll still be here if you do).
So if you want a tutor who’s knowledgeable and actually fun to learn with (even math), let’s work together. I’ll bring the patience-you just bring yourself.
