I have been an educator for 20+ years at the middle school, high school, and college levels and have tutored students in many different subjects. I love seeing my students improve and specialize in using differentiation and technology to enhance student learning.
I have been the lead Biology curriculum and assessment writer for my district and have been working with NGSS since 2013.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first get a feel for their learning style and how they learn best. From there, I personalize their experiences to best help them with their needs. I treat every student as an individual and no two are the same.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a valid MD teaching certificate in Seconday Biology, Secondary Social Studies, Secondary Special Ed, and Administration.
I have worked in neuroscience, genetics, and biological and chemical labs.
I have a Master's degrees in Biomimicry, Administration, and Instructional Technology.
