I aim not to have a student memorize material for the test but to really understand the material and connect it to prior knowledge so that the material makes sense and sticks with them in the long term.

I enjoy working with students who are looking to not just learn the material for the test but are looking to really understand the material. I enjoy helping students to see that with a little effort and logic they too can better understand science
