As a recent graduate of Hampshire College and a non-traditional student, I strive to create an environment that students are comfortable in. I am well versed in writing and reading and run the Writing Help @ Night program at Hampshire College, a tutoring program available at the Writing Center during evening hours. Hi, I am a current college student studying international relations with a minor in English. I am well equipped with the skills to help aid and develop others with reading and writing. I worked for multiple years as a volunteer teacher's aid for adults and children with special needs. This job gave me specific attributes such as patience and understanding different learning types in a new way. I was a camp counsleor at a sleep away camp where I taught sailing; this prepared me for engaging different types of students, and ways to keep learning entertaining and digestable.
