I have been in education for 14 years. As I was obtaining by bachelors degree, I worked as a kindergarten paraprofessional. I was in that position for 5 years. Once I received my teaching license, I worked as a first grade teacher. I moved to second grade in 2019 and have been a second teacher for the last 6 years. I received my Masters degree in teaching in 2018. I love teaching and it is my passion. From a young age I knew I wanted to become a teacher and I can’t see myself doing anything else.

Hi, I am a current college student studying international relations with a minor in English. I am well equipped with the skills to help aid and develop others with reading and writing. I worked for multiple years as a volunteer teacher's aid for adults and children with special needs. This job gave me specific attributes such as patience and understanding different learning types in a new way. I was a camp counsleor at a sleep away camp where I taught sailing; this prepared me for engaging different types of students, and ways to keep learning entertaining and digestable.
