I've been an elementary school teacher for the past 22 years. A majority of my time teaching has been in K-2. I have lots of experiences working with students of all needs. I have been in the field of education for the past 7 years. I worked as a paraprofessional for 2 years prior to becoming a special education teacher. I am currently a special education teacher in Billerica and I work with high school students with disabilities. I love helping out in math. Whenever a student in my class needs help with a subject I’m always there to help them understand. Even when it’s online I help out. Where it’s a specific topic or just something someone’s not sure about and needs a little practice with. I enjoy helping out with math because it not only teaches the student but it also teaches me how to do my job.
