I am a Master's student, but on hiatus as I finish my capstone, and part of my love for social work and children is working with them, watching them grow, and helping them learn. Excited to hear from you!

Current student myself who knows what it is like to have a professor or teacher explain ideas in confusing or lengthy ways. I like to draw comparisons using analogies and establish a strong base of knowledge before adding details. I love working with students and helping them figure out what they do not know and then tackling those topics. I also love using different teaching aids to make things easier to memorize or easier to understand.

I recently graduated with my Masters degree and am located in Brighton, MA. I have availability for both short sessions for those in a rush, but also can spend time with students so they feel confident. I worked with undergraduate students in my last year of my Masters and they really benefited from it.

Education isn't something we can grab off the shelf, it's a collection of skills that students use for the rest of their lives. As a graduate of Dartmouth College, I've developed a particular love for learning what a student already knows, and sewing new knowledge into that fabric. While my most recent experience was as a statistics teaching assistant at the collegiate level (2yrs), I also have experience in literacy tutoring and music theory instruction at the middle school level (1yr each).

As a current college student with 4+ years of tutoring experience, all K-12 material is still quite relevant and fresh in my mind. I have worked with a variety of ages, from kindergarten all the way to seniors in high school. I get to know each student individually as well as get to know their personal goals. I will provide quick, concise responses for those in a hurry, and slow, methodic teaching for those looking to understand the material on a deeper level. I welcome parent feedback and will alter my methods based on parental goals as well.

I am a current student at NYU Stern Studying Finance and Statistics. I have over 4 years of experience tutoring students up to 8th grade. I've taught subjects ranging from english to speech & debate. I bond with students on a personal level, understanding each student's individuals needs and how I can help them best. I communicate with parents and take their input into account when developing my tutoring methods.
