I have been in the field of education for the past 7 years. I worked as a paraprofessional for 2 years prior to becoming a special education teacher. I am currently a special education teacher in Billerica and I work with high school students with disabilities. Although I work in a high school setting I have experience with elementary and middle school curriculum.

Hello! My name is Mr. Maldonado (Mr. M) and I am a first grade teacher in Haverhill. In 2021, I received my Master of Arts in Teaching from Clark University. There, I focused on elementary, urban education while teaching in a first grade classroom. Over the past 4 years, I have gained experience teaching first and third grade. I love being able to build confidence in students through individualized instruction. This has been seen through remote and in-person mediums.

I am a recent graduate in English with a DESE certification to teach ELA (English) 5-12. I have experience teaching in both middle and high school, alongside 3+ years of on-campus tutoring with peers, and am currently pursuing my Master's in Education! Hello! My name is Alicia Penta, but my current students call me Miss Penta. I work as a 7th grade inclusion special education teacher, and I have been for 4 years. I love working with my students because everyone needs a cheerleader, and I am able to do that for them! I teach math, science, ELA, and Ancient Civ, I can tutor any subject, besides foreign language. The biggest takeaways I want my students to have when they leave the 7th grade is confidence and the ability to use strategies to help them be successful.
