I taught English 15 years at Noble and Greenough school, mostly to juniors and seniors.
I developed an approach to writing designed to address students' dislike of writing as meaningless hoop-jumping; instead, i think the creative apaect of all writing, even essays on literature, is essential.
Finally, my hope is that every student recognizes the importance of his or her voice as unique, and that it deserves to be refelcted in writing.
Having retired from teaching, I sit at home with my two newly adopted kittens, Pish and Brio, and spend hours writing. I couldn't be happier.
But the pandemic has created great difficulty for lots of people...
