I am a high school science teacher passionate about inspiring young people to excel in their STEM courses. I have a degree in Biology and I’m working on a Master’s in Effective Science Teaching. I have several years of experience working with students from 6th grade through 12th grade in both individual and group settings. It is my mission to ensure you understand the content being studied.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to spend time getting to know the student and identifying their short and long term goals. I also like to assess where they are in the course and determine some of their strengths and weaknesses to come up with a plan that will be most beneficial to the student. I need to be able to see a syllabus, curriculum summary, or student objectives from the course to be most effective in my tutoring.
