I have experience with editing and revision, having worked with technical writing as well as traditional ELA standards. As a teacher I enjoy showing students how to read comprehend and discuss literature in ways that maybe they aren't used to in school.

• I enjoy helping students understand what they read and how to translate it to the writing process. • I have been teaching for over 20 years in Ascension Parish. • I am a certified 1-8 teacher with a concentration in reading and writing. I have assisted in writing Benchmark Assessments for Ascension Parish. I have also written and received a grant to publish a short book.
