Hi! After18 years of teaching and 19 years of working as a college librarian and now more than 12 years of tutoring. I love to teach reading and all subjects necessary for reading. I have a BS and MS in Elementary Education and a MS in Library Science. When working with various grades and adults, I enjoy the look in their eyes for when they conquer reading. It is such a joy to me. I work with anyone who want to advance in with their communication skills. I work online only according to teaching each individual person with their needs in an old school style and with traditional phonics. I have all my own online materials.

I am a teacher certified in the areas of Elementary Education, ESE, and English (grades 6-12). I am currently teaching second grade, but I have experience teaching other elementary grades, as well as working with college-level students helping them with paper writing. I enjoy helping students better understand the English language. I love seeing my students become better able to express themselves, both orally and in writing.

I grew up in a bilingual home with the blessing of learning Spanish first and going on to enjoying language to include speaking, reading and writing. I also loved music both from my Hispanic culture and American. I started singing in elementary choirs and went on to continue to use my vocal ability for years and took vocal lessons for over three years. I also sung with an advanced worship team for over 5 years and sang the soprano part.
