Hi! I’ve worked in education since 2007, much of that time in tutoring. I have B.A.s in English and Humanities with a Master’s in teaching those with learning and behavior disorders as well as English. I’ve worked with ages 5 to 45, tailoring my teaching to the needs of every individual. I love my relationships with those I tutor! I’m patient and encouraging and I bring out your best! I am a retired teacher with 22 years of experience. I have a master’s degree in teaching English and a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. I have taught English, Creature Writing, and Humanities at the middle and high school levels. I also worked with special needs children, developing curriculum and creating Individual Education Plans. I have missed the interaction of working with students and establishing and adapting their learning styles. Perhaps the thing I miss the most is watching a student understand that they can excel at things that have previously found challenging.
