I am a 66 yr old grandma. I have helped my children and grandchildren learn to read. I loved reading when I was a child and now as a senior. I can help kids learn bowels, verbs, pronouns and etc...... I have a great sense of humor and use it to help students. Just being a boring tutor is no fun for anyone. I am a special education resource teacher in Overland Park, KS. I’m certified both in K-12 SPED and K-6 General education. I have worked as a tutor after school for about a year now but I’d like to grow the number of students that I’m tutoring each week. I’m currently working in getting my doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction so I tutor to avoid taking out a college loan.
