Hi there. My name is Terran and I’m 30 years old with experience in tutoring, life skills coaching, health & wellness, special needs education, executive functioning, and remediation. I am a current tutor who typically teaches English, Reading, Writing, Math, Science, Grammar, Study Skills, Organization, Nutrition, Meditation, Yoga, and more. I have a Bachelor’s of Science in News and Information Journalism. I am also an ACE Personal Trainer, NASM Personal Trainer, ACE Group Fitness Instructor, Precision Nutrition Level 1 Nutritionist, 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher, and am American Red Cross Adult & Infant First Aid, CPR, & AED Certified.

Im a junior at KU studying Human Biology and German. I have been a tutor since 2022 and have experience working with all ages and learning levels. Experiences in working with kids with disabilities.

I am currently an undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology. While I have maintained my grades even while balancing many extracurriculars during my time in University, I used to sincerely struggle in middle and high school. During this time, the academic challenges I faced were exacerbated by a limited support system. These experiences, however, were instrumental in shaping my academic approach. They not only taught me to take charge of my learning process and develop effective learning techniques, but they also ignited a passion for helping others who might be struggling academically.
