The COVID lockdowns of our public schools, spanning two academic school years, severely impacted our son. He lost interest in everything except video games. His sense of apathy turned into a strong trait of "learned helplessness". Disciplinary incidents were always someone else's fault. Every adversity was another reason to give up. Ms. DiDomenico agreed to take on a very tough case with our son. She patiently introduced him to the principles of the Growth Mindset. She made subtle and consistent suggestions to introduce him to the concept of personal accountability. Working with Ms. DiDomenico, his grades steadily improved. More importantly, he developed his own goals. We were beyond surprised (shocked, actually) when he announced that he had identified a new school, applied, and went through multiple rounds of interviews on his own! He is now studying abroad on a full scholarship.

My experience working with Maxwell was more than I can ask for. He was patient, understanding, and knowledgeable when it came to helping me with the areas I struggled most. Before I came across Maxwell’s tutoring service I was doing poorly in my subject. But with encouragement and guidance Maxwell definitely helped improve my understanding and evidently, my grade improved. I don’t know what more I can say but thanks Maxwell. If you’re doubting whether to go to Maxwell for help, just do it. You won’t regret it.

I love YOUnique Minds. Sign up process was very easy. Pleasant director, she answer all my questions. Tutoring has been going well. Tutor has been very patient. We have done virtual,face to face and group. She has been engaged and loved all of them. She looks forward to each class. I also love that one of her tutors sends me a report of what they did and where she should focus her time next session. Overall I am pleased.
