Mrs. O. Tutors

I graduated from NIU in December with my LBS1 teaching degree, which means I am qualified to teach students from Kindergarten to age 22 with special needs. I am also happy to talk with families about what accommodations to look for in an IEP. I have direct experience teaching students with intellectual disabilities, such as Downs Syndrome, cerebral palsy, and Traumatic Brain Injuries, as well as all levels of autism. I like to help students gain as much independence as possible through building their communication skills, social skills, reading and writing skills and basic math skills.
