My name is Tiana and I have a Masters in Elementary Education. I have been working with elementary students for over 15 years. It is my passion to help students become the best they can be and actually enjoy learning.

I hold a degree in Architecture. I worked as a teacher in Mexico for 10 years at a Catholic school (1978–1988). Subsequently, I moved to the United States and taught ESL and Duo-Language programs in the Lake County School District for 27 years. I retired in 2016 after teaching at both the elementary and secondary levels. My extensive teaching experience led me to accept a position in the Adult Education Department at the College of Lake County, where I helped students obtain their high school diploma (HSD/GED). Although I enjoy my retirement, I feel I can still help many students reach their goal of achieving full bilingualism.

I began teaching as a university senior, where I taught a freshman humanities class. Since then, I have taught at every level, from K-12 and college. I have worked with special needs students.
