About

Value Statement: I help others find information that will make the world a better place.

An early career librarian with over five years experience, I have worked in special, academic, public, and jail libraries that have helped me to cultivate a broad background of librarianship and become a better library professional.

Currently, I work at the American Hospital Association (AHA) as a Research Librarian, where I conduct literature searches for staff, provide prospect research to staff on member hospitals, market intelligence, and analyze hospital data so hospitals can benchmark performance.

In addition, I am an instructor for the Medline and Beyond: Searching Medical Databases course at the University of Chicago's Graham School. This course is part of the school's Medical Writing and Editing certification program.

My specialties and passions consist of:

-Research

-Technology Training and Instruction

-Reference Services

-Project Management

-Mentoring

-Community Outreach

I have an MLIS degree from Dominican University, and a BA in Anthropology and Political Science from Ripon College.

I’m always interested in hearing from former colleagues, managers, or just interesting creative folk, so feel free to contact me if you’d like to connect.
