I am currently a student at the University of Georgia, pursuing a Bachelor’s in Psychology with an interest in Educational Psychology. I have a total of 7 years in education, 4 as a special education paraprofessional and 3 as a substitute teacher. I have experience working with students to meet them where they are and building understanding through diversified explanations and teaching them how to break down work to manage it easier, in the process practicing skills to improve independent problem solving.

I am a recent graduate from the University of Georgia, School of Education, Elementary Education program with a major in Language Arts. I am a certified elementary teacher in all subject areas and am a certified language arts (English) teacher in elementary and middle school grade levels. I have student taught in 2nd, 4th and 5th grade classrooms and have taught 7th graders over the summer. I am enthusastic and encouraging with all students I work with! My goal as a tutor is, not only for students and parents to see tangible results, but for students to feel confident and excited about learning!

My name is Michelle, and I just finished my 25th year of teaching elementary school. I have taught in both Tennessee and Georgia in grades 5,4,3, and EIP grades K-5. Each student is different and learn in different ways. I strive to do my best every day. I look foward to creating a partnership with parents.

I have been a certified teacher for 30 years in Florida. I have my certification in Georgia. I have taught 2nd,3rd,4th and 5th. I also have my masters in pre k primary to 3rd grade. I currently work as a para pro in Kindergarten.
